The past few days in Istanbul have been the hottest of the last 30 years. Did I mention that most homes don’t have AC? Usually they don’t need it. So it was great to cool of in the Leb-i Derya restaurant in Taksim.
They are famous for their view of the Bosporus and the old city. And I love the way they draped their ceiling with white cloth and then hung a chandelier over the bar area.
Oh, and that view wasn’t too shabby either.
