I think the concrete planter is absolutely beautiful!
Everything to do with your shak.
When I went to college, I did a purge of my whole room. I threw away all my boy band (Green Day) posters from high school, got rid of clothes that no longer fit, and tossed (most) of my stuffed animals. (The really beloved few went into storage). When I left college and moved out on my own, I did another purge. This time, I got rid of everything that wasn’t useful, sentimental, or beautiful to me. If you are in your 30s, it’s probably time that you do a household purge as well. There are probably tons of things leftover from your college / 20-something days that no longer fit in an adult space. Plus, less stuff = easier to clean. Check out this post by Liz Lynch at My Domaine for items you should toss/donate today:
-Dorm room posters
-Ratty, mismatched towels
-Plastic novelty cup collection
-Accessories/decor that you no longer LOVE
-Over the door mirrors
-Folding dining chairs

It’s no secret that planning your family’s meals in advance is super beneficial. It’s healthier, and less expensive. Why? Because, with a solid meal plan, you’ll know what to buy and can make grocery lists in advance. It reduces impulse spending, and impulse McDonald’s runs. Whether you’re just feeding yourself, or a family of six, meal planning will make you a little more sane. Plus, the menu board is super cute and will make a great addition to any kitchen’s décor! If you’re interested in getting you and your Shak on a meal plan, check out this menu tutorial by Rachel at The Wood Connection Blog. Here’s what she used:
I used a vertical slat sign
Hazel & Ruby Blindside Alpha Stencil Masks (available at Michael’s Craft Store)
Hazel & Ruby Crazy For Chevy Teal Fat Roll Washi Tape
Turquoise acrylic paint
Rustoleum chalkboard paint
