I can never seem to use technology to get organized. I never look at the calendar app on my phone, and don’t think I’ve EVER opened the “Notes” section to write things down. Instead, I carry around two notebooks with me everywhere: one for story ideas/creative writing, and one for daily life. The daily one has all my to do lists, shopping lists, budgets, personal goal, and upcoming events. There’s just something way more satisfying about crossing off a to-do list item than just deleting an item in your phone. She recommends leaving behind a “staging binder” that buyers can look through when they view your home. Here’s what it includes:

-Typical utility costs
-Recent maintenance/upgrades
-Neighborhood info
I think it’s a great way to show the buyers that you really care for your home and for them. It’s a personal touch, without making the house look personalized. If you use this idea, make sure you ask your Realtor first and have him/her look through it beforehand!
