This installation, appropriately name Flat Light, is from the Flat Life exhibit at the Design Museum, London. The series is meant to be an advertisement for the product, showing it being un-crated and set up.

I have a few hand-washables in my kitchen. I tend to leave them to dry on a towel or on top of the stove. But if I had a dish rack like this, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave it out.
I’m always interested in alternatives to a traditional Christmas tree. I like ornaments, but I don’t have much room for a blue spruce. These mod tree displays would do nicely.
Matryoshka dolls are showing up everywhere this year. I like this minimalist take inspired by the Pantone color-matching system.
The DLM Table (Don’t Leave Me) is a handy, portable occasional table complete with it’s own handle. Carry it from room to room and even outside. It would be great for serving drinks.
It’s hard to buy gifts for adults. Most of us have already bought ourselves what we really want.

How cool is this pencil bench? It would be so much fun in an office lobby. I wonder how comfortable it is…

Here’s a just-in-time rescue for the holiday party season: a self-balancing tray that is poised to rescue those of us who are all-thumbs from a season of carpet scrubbing.
This one-handed tray was designed by the founder of Droog Design. It uses physics (centrifugal force) to keep your drinks in the glasses where they belong while allowing you freedom of movement.
Racked, the NY shopping blog, has been posting photos of holiday window displays. Today, I saw these amazing pics from Bergdorf Goodman.
Their theme is the four elements: earth, air, water, and light.
