I know that every mom struggles with this question. Heck, every parent is constantly worried that they are not good enough and are screwing up their child. I’m here to tell you that if you are worried about it, then your kid will be fine. If you worry enough to care about how they turn out, you are doing a good job. If they are happy, healthy, warm, and have a roof over their head and food in their bellies, and a parent who loves them, they have all they need. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed. It’s okay that you sometimes lose your temper and yell. It’s okay if all you did today was keep the kids alive and not a single thing else. It’s okay.
