I’ll be the first to admit that I’m more than a little obsessed with things that smell good. I love going to Bath & Bodyworks, I always save perfume samples longer than I should, I have a large collection of wax melts, and an entire shelf dedicated to lotion. I want myself to smell good, and I want my house to smell good as well. That can be a little challenging, especially since I share my space with two cats. That’s why I love this post by Kelly Dixon at Smart School House! Here are a few of my favorite “smell hacks” that she listed:
-Throw some lemon juice, vanilla extract, and rosemary into a crockpot with some water- it makes your whole home smell fresh!
-Drop some essential oils onto your home’s air filter when you change it.
-Clip fabric softener sheets onto a fan for an instant air freshener!
-Sprinkle baking soda into smelly shoes, leave overnight to absorb the odor.
