I wrote last week about how to cheaply eliminate doggie odor from your home. However, dogs don’t just get stinky from running in the rain and rolling around in mud. Anyone who has ever seen a dog can tell you all about the dreaded “doggie breath”. Sure, you can brush your dog’s teeth (but who actually does that?), but most of us opt for the dental treats that you can get. When your dog chews on them, they clean their teeth and freshen their breath. However, they can be pretty expensive. That’s why I love this post by Lynette Walczak at Dogs-The Funtimes Guide. Here are several DIY dog breath treat recipes:
-No-Bake DIY Dog Breath Mints
made of only crushed crackers, mint leaves, and water
–Homemade Greenies Dog Breath Fresheners
contains chickpeas, flour, flaxseed, mint leaves, parsley, and soup stock
