Ornamental Peppers

by permafrog Leave a Comment

Ornamental peppers add colour, shape and texture to your indoor environment and some are edible. Before biting into one make sure of two things;

One you know the plant and if it is edible and two, if it is edible nipple a wee bit first to see how hot it is. While I was looking for information on growing hot peppers indoors, I stumbled upon the Geranium blog which has great photos of hot peppers thriving.

As we movve towards the festive season and much gardening moves indoors, there are a number of plants that will add beauty to the season. Over the next few weeks we will take a look at the plants which blossom indoors with little attention.

We start with the amaryllis which will draw peoples’ attention as they enter your home. You can force the amaryllis into bloom by following a few basic steps.

Curb Appeal

by permafrog Leave a Comment

If you are selling your house remember that first impressions are lasting impressions. Your front yard
is the first and last thing a prospective buyer sees. Make sure they
arrive and leave with a positive view.

This is also important to consider when you are buying a house, don’t let the beautiful grounds distract you from the house’s foundation.

If you are looking for a great tip for enhancing your home’s curb appeal, drop by Shak In Style and  read the article on Fabulous Fall Foliage.
