My daughters at different times in their lives have been the spitting image of me. They’ve also been the spitting image of their Dad. My brother recently posted a photo of his daughter and she truly is his spitting image when he was that age. I can just picture her doing science experiments and mathematical problems!
I had heard at some point in my life that when babies are born, they tend to look like the father more than the mother because it triggers the protective instinct in the father.
Genetics really can be interesting. We recently saw a photo of my cousin’s adult-aged daughter. She was the spitting image of my daughter who is her second cousin.
