I’m a writer, and not just for this blog. I write stories, and am currently working on two novels. And let me tell you, the HARDEST part of writing is coming up with names and titles. It has to be absolutely perfect, fit the character, and encompass the entire theme of the book. Needless to say, it can be stressful. Often, I don’t title something until I’m finished writing. However, if you’re a blogger, the very first thing you need is a name. Your title should tell readers what sort of blog it is (Mommy blog? Finance blog? Fashion blog? Craft blog?), and also tell them something about yourself. Check out this fun generator from Heart IFB for ideas. It’s specifically for fashion writers, but you can use their fun combinations for just about any type of blog:
-Throw a shoutout to where you live, for example: Sassy Seattle, Lace in Louisiana.
-Give yourself a cute nickname: Pristine Polly, The Aristo-Chick, etc.
-Use the word “fashion” and combine it with a random word: Fashion Giraffe, Fashion Vitamins.
Instead of fashion, think of words that go with your topic. You could be, “The Crochet Kitten,” or “Moneybags Marie”. Personally, I’m a fan of puns.
