When it comes to tablet computers, getting the maximum capacity you can–be it storage space, RAM, processing speed, or special features–when you first buy the system is crucial. For one thing, you can’t upgrade a tablet yourself, unlike a laptop or a desktop computer. For another thing, you want to get the most out of your tablet that you can, and that means you’ll need to pay more for a longer life span. For business users, even 64GB of storage space isn’t enough, because any kind of professional application needs a lot of file storage.
Hence, Apple, in a renewed push for business adoption of the iPad, is cramming more storage into the fourth generation of their tablet. Apple is launching a 128GB iPad, which is a ton of space, that has all the features of other fourth-generation tablets. Of course, that size comes at a cost. A WiFi-only 128GB iPad will set you back $799, while a 4G iPad will run you $929 before data costs and the like. Spring, Verizon, and AT&T will be rolling out versions of the iPad.
