I’ve been looking for a house for quite some time. I can never quite find one I like on my own, and I’ve kind of given up hope since I had to spend quite a bit of my money I had saved up for a new car after my old one died. Still, I drive past houses I wish I owned and I can’t help but wonder if there wasn’t a better way to actually pore over the listings and find the house I’ve been looking for for a couple of years. Well, as it turns out, there’s an app for that.
As it turns out, there’s an app that turns the Zillow real-estate listings into an easily-browsed GPS-based searching service. You get estimated property values of the area and you see what homes are for sale without even lifting a finger. Zillow does it all using your smart-phone’s built-in location finder! If you’re looking to rent, not buy, Zillow also features a rent calculator. You can explore the inside of certain listings, and if you’re interested, one click contacts the seller.
That’d definitely make things easier when it comes to finding a place to stay in a particular neighborhood, which is something I’d love to be able to do. Well, maybe someday I’ll have a smartphone AND have my dream house.
